Supah Mario is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. As a Billboard charting, platinum-certified producer, he has left an undeniable mark on the landscape of contemporary Hip-Hop and R&B. Supah Mario's production credits read like a who's who of the music world, including his most notable accomplishment in a Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit with Drake's "What's Next" and countless other gems such as Lil Keed and Gunna's "Fox Five," Bktherula's "Santanny," and Lil Uzi Vert tracks "Myron" and "Silly Watch." With a string of RIAA platinum certifications and accolades to his name, Supah Mario has firmly established himself as one of the most sought-after and influential producers in the game today.

Hailing from the small, tight-knit town of Blythewood, South Carolina, he was raised in a big, musical family from humble beginnings, built off the strength of love, support and passion. The family, who resided with his grandmother until age eleven, relocated to Columbia, South Carolina where his musical prowess expanded. Growing up, the producer was immersed in the sounds of his community, with his father playing bass, his uncles on various instruments, and his aunt showcasing her soulful vocals. From a young age, the country native’s passion for music was evident, as he began playing the drums at just three years old. Surrounded by a family that lived and breathed music, he spent his childhood in local studios, absorbing the creative process and honing his own musical talents, perfecting his craft. The lack of advanced technology back then, with only two studios in the area and home setups being the norm, shaped Supah Mario's approach to production, as he spent his teenage years becoming self-taught on equipment at the homes of his friends.

Despite his early inclination towards being a live drummer and touring musician, Mario's path eventually led him to his true calling and the world of production. Having spent time in countless rap groups, garage bands, rock bands and beyond with his teenage peers, Mario grew to exude a skill for genre-blending which would prove impactful in his later years. After an on-stage panic attack during his first live performance with a neighborhood rap group, he strategized by pivoting his focus to the behind-the-scenes creative side of the industry, turning in his forefront status on the mic and determined to make his mark as a producer.

Deciding that his career would not take off the way he wanted without engulfing himself in a city where music was a hub, Supah set his new sights on Atlanta; the epicenter of the music industry. Armed with a trove of beats and a relentless work ethic, he spent his off-days commuting, driving to the city, passing out flash drives and CDs, and waiting outside studios to share his creations with anyone who would listen. After executive production work on a friend’s project who frequently collaborated and was signed to Waka Flocka, a formal introduction was made, and from there, Waka took the young producer under his wing. Supah Mario's introduction to the legendary 808 Mafia collective, including producer Southside, further solidified his place in the industry, as he spent countless hours networking and honing his craft while sleeping on Southside's couch and becoming an honorary 808 member from 2013-2015.This persistent hustle paid off when, at the age of 24, Supah landed his first major publishing deal with a song he produced for Young Thug, titled "2 Cups Stuffed." This breakthrough moment opened doors, and provided him the means to make permanent changes, relocating to Atlanta where he currently resides. His next major break would come in the form of his first album placement with a track on Jeezy’s Church In These Streets album in 2015. From there the momentum was only up and the demand for Supah’s talent increased. Most recently, the producer has collaborated with incredible acts such as Shenseea, Paul Wall, 42 Dugg, and more.

Supah Mario's versatile and melodic production style, which he describes as a cross between Memphis and old Atlanta, has earned him countless RIAA platinum certifications and collaborations with a diverse array of artists, including Dreamville, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Megan Thee Stallion, Big K.R.I.T, Quavo, Lil Yatchy, Latto, Tink, G-Eazy, DaBaby and countless more. His impressive resume includes Drake’s “Ice Melts,” Young Thug’s “Thief in the Night,” Lil Uzi Vert’s “That Way,” YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “No Sleep,” Dreamville, JID and Lute’s “Still Dreamin,” Childish Major’s “I like You,” TDE Reason’s “Family First!” and pages more.

Despite his meteoric rise, Supah Mario has remained grounded, drawing inspiration from the humble beginnings of his small-town upbringing, where he was surrounded by a close-knit family and a community that fostered his musical passions. From his early days of experimenting with different genres in neighborhood bands to his current position as a highly sought-after super-producer, Supah Mario's journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, adaptability, and a deep-rooted connection to one's roots.

As he continues to leave his indelible mark on the music industry, Supah Mario's story serves as an inspiration to aspiring producers and artists alike, proving that with unwavering dedication and a unique creative vision, even the most humble of beginnings can blossom into extraordinary success.
